A small studio that builds.
Rugmaz is an independent digital growth agency working with businesses in Manchester, across the UK and further afield. We are deliberately small, which is the point rather than an apology.
- Manchester, service area business
- Pakistan
- UK and international clients
- Senior people, no account layer

Most reporting is built to reassure.
Spend long enough around marketing agencies and you notice a pattern. The reports are beautiful. The percentages are large. Nobody can tell you what a customer actually cost, or what the number was before the work started.
Rugmaz was set up to work the other way around. Before anything begins we record the baseline: current traffic and its quality, cost per genuine enquiry by channel, where leads are lost after they arrive, and what your competitors are winning that you are not. Every number we report afterwards is measured against that, in absolute figures you can check against your own accounts.
It makes for less flattering reporting. It also makes it possible to tell whether the money is working.
We will tell you when a channel is not viable for your margins, when your follow up is the problem rather than your traffic, and when you should spend less.
That costs us work. Not saying it costs you more.
We build things, not just run things.
Senior people do the work
There is no account manager relaying messages to someone junior. The person who audits your account is the person who rebuilds it.
We can actually build
Websites, CRM automations, lead routing, reporting pipelines. Most agencies stop at recommending. The difference matters when the fix is a system rather than a campaign.
AI where it earns its place
We work on being found inside AI Overviews, ChatGPT and Perplexity, and we run ChatGPT Ads. We also say plainly where AI is still hype, which is often.
Baselines, published
Every engagement starts with a recorded starting position, and every report is measured against it in absolute numbers.
A service area business
No reception desk, no city centre office to pay for. The money goes into the work. We are honest about that rather than implying a presence we do not have.
Tell us what is actually wrong.
Not what you think we want to hear. The messier the real picture, the more useful our first reply will be.
